About Alpic

The way businesses reach customers is changing. AI assistants are no longer just answering questions, they're becoming the interfaces where people discover, evaluate, and use products. Alpic helps businesses adapt their products and services to use directly inside AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. We do so through a variety of services, from open-source frameworks and tooling for developers, to a full cloud and analytics platform, to a service arm that builds bespoke MCP apps for teams that need to move fast. Today Alpic already has dozens of apps live in the ChatGPT and Claude stores, built for some of the biggest names in travel, retail, luxury, and SaaS in Europe.

Great design is central to that mission: helping developers understand complex systems, helping teams see how their apps perform with agents, and making new interactions feel intuitive.

Team

Repeat founders with a successful exit under our belt, we have known each other for 10+ years and weathered the ups and downs of startup life together at Streamroot. We are also early contributors and active players in the MCP community building the foundations of the agent-based internet.

We raised a $6M pre-seed round led by Partech, with participation from Kima Ventures, Galion.exe, and founders from Mistral, Datadog, and Dataiku. The team is now fifteen strong across Paris and New York. We are among the 40 fastest-growing startups at Station F and winners of the global startup competition The Pitch by Deel.

What you will do

Own and improve the design of Alpic's products, from the user journey and visual direction to the design system and the interfaces we ship.

You will work closely with the founders, product and engineering teams to turn complex workflows into simple, polished experiences. We are looking for a designer who can ship fast, question UI assumptions and bring their taste and design sense to our workflows and culture. Product design is at the core of this role, but we welcome strong creative skills to help us build a coherent visual journey across all of our marketing assets.

• Craft beautiful, polished and delightful user and agent interfaces that build trust and showcase the power of our technology
• Understand user needs, map journeys, explore solutions and refine the details, from information architecture to interactions, typography and visual hierarchy
• Identify friction and inconsistency across our products, prioritize improvements with the team and follow them through
• Work comfortably across code, design and prototypes, and find new ways to communicate ideas and concepts
• Find creative ways to ship high-quality work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, resource-constrained startup environment
• Raise the team's design standards to help everyone ship more consistent experiences
• Refine the Alpic visual identity to make us stand out even more
